Trafficking
We must end sex trafficking in the Philippines. Almost half a million people are involved in prostitution and 100,000 of them are children. They become sex slaves in their own country to sell their flesh to complete strangers. Strangers, who would go as far as abusing innocent girls sexually just to satisfy the desires of their flesh. An estimated 30,000 victims of sex trafficking die each year from abuse, disease, torture, and neglect. Victims have to fight the battle brought by different psychological effects that include clinical depression, personality and dissociative disorders, Post?Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and Complex Post?Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Help True Love Waits end sex trafficking and minister to those who have been abused.
