Come and Learn How to Be a Better Dad
One of our highest callings is to be a dad. Yet, sometimes dads may feel not equipped or even alone when raising children. Being a dad, takes God’s grace, because each of us will make mistakes along the way. We all have made more than our share. But, as the Bible teaches us over and over again, His grace is sufficient for all who ask (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).
Come join other dads who want to be a better today than they were yesterday. The 2-hour session will focus on practical tools to help dads be a better dad today. The Bible and the book “Be a Better Dad Today” by Greg Slayton will be used to guide our conversations. Professor Slayton has studied the art and practice of Fatherhood on six different continents, including the Philippines, over the past 25 years.
We will discuss having a family vision, establishing our model for fathering, how to have fun as a family, as well as other practical and down-to-earth ways on how to be a better father. Come and you will be blessed as a dad.
The first Twenty (20) dads that sign-up will receive a signed copy of the book “Be a Better Dad Today.”
The group will be facilitated by experienced Dads from the State of Texas in the USA.
