After months of praying & discussing with Leo and Windy on how to win this warfare/battle. God gave us the wisdom to present to the counselors
group (and Tito Ed) the True-Love-Waits (TLW) curriculum and they all agreed to launch
it.

Bon & I (together with the youth) were able to attend the facilitators seminar last year in Cebu (lead by Derek Ross). So, we had an idea how to do it.

We had the first batch last Saturday, July 28. Leo invited all youth cell leaders. 32 of them learned, commited and took the first step of doing what is right —- obeying God’s Word. Hope to hear more testimonies from the youth soon.

This TLW is just God’s means of winning the “battle”. God may have another means. And we’re asking for more wisdom. I believe God speaks to the body of Christ. And we want to challenge the whole church to share what’s in their heart.

As for now, we’re planning to have another TLW batch on October. Maybe after the exams or before the exams. Then we’re thinking of doing a POST TLW seminars (sample topics: How-to-find-the-right-partner, Courting and Dating God’s Way, How to say NO). We want to focus only to the youth leaders. Equip them and hopefully, by Gods grace, they can do it on their own and mak a STAND for the next generation.

This whole process molded our love for each other & our relationship. And I dont think this is true only for Bon and I, I believe even for the volunteers/youth counselors and speakers. God is molding every marriage/relationship here. God is soooooo good!
