Does some of the words above sounds familiar to you? Have you said it to someone before maybe to a family member or a friend? Sometimes in our lives it’s either we’re the one who says it or tayo mismo ang sinabihan, one way or the other it does hurt…and these kinds of words leaves wounds that will forever stamp in someone else’s heart and mind, and wherever they go, whoever they meet they will carry that thought as long as possible. We think it’s just kinda normal because we hear it casually said from a neighbor, a tv soap opera or movie and sometimes from our own parents and friends.
But wait here’s what God says about our tongue and the words that we say:
Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
James 3:5
A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it!
It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell.

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
One solitary word can ruin one’s life just always be careful and here is the warning:

What the world needs now is encouragement, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—say about such things to everyone you know.

hmmm…im guilty of saying some of the bad words…i feel so guilty…from now on i will change it…because i don’t want to hurt someones feeling although its just a joke…its a good reminder for everyone!!! specially the christians..

yeah… agree ako sa nabasa ko… whatever words come out from your mouth it also comes to your heart… even though you will say its a joke… or ” babawiin mo na joke lng naman” (50% percent is totoo pinadaan u lng po sa joke, 50% is truly a joke.. but then nakaiwan ka ng mark sa sa heart ng isang tao… ) nakakapg joke ang isang tao dahil may dalawang kadahilanan sya.. one is just for fun and the other one is hidden desire sya and he/she needs na idaan na lng sa joke… watch your mouth…
